How do you coach someone with an entrepreneurial personality? Is it different from coaching anyone else? What are the benefits for entrepreneurs? How can coaching entrepreneurs be valuable for coaches?
I hosted a workshop at the Coaching at Work conference on 3 July 2019 alongside colleagues from Coaches Supporting Young Entrepreneurs. In our workshop we explored the traits of entrepreneurs and ‘intrapreneurs’ (individuals working within an organisation who exhibit entrepreneurial behaviours), recognising that there are regional variations in these traits. We discussed how coaching benefits entrepreneurs and the challenges and pitfalls for coaches.
